A haiku poem  has three sentences with syllables. The first sentence  has 5 syllables and the second one has 7 syllables  and the third has 5. My best haiku poem is called  friends.

Friends
My best friends are great.
My best friends are nice to me.
I love my best friends.

My poem

This week we have been learning different poems . Mine is on different feelings, like blue means sad.  Mine is called " LOVE".

                   LOVE

Love is the colour red.
Love tastes like red strawberries.
Love smells like roses.

Love looks like a red ruby.

Love sounds like baby birds.

My onomatopoea poem

We have been learning about onomatopoea. My onomatopoea poem is called Lunch Time.

LUNCH TIME

The bell rings
Ring ring ring ring.
We stamp out the door
Stamp stamp, stomp stomp.
We eat our food and go
Chomp chomp chomp chomp.
We run to go and play
Thump thump thump thump.
We play in the sand
Swish swish swish swish.
The sound of the flying fox goes
Squeak squeak squeak squeak.
The rope goes
Whirr whirr whirr whirr.
Its the end of play time and it's time to work work work work!

But the best of all is the art that we did of Hundertwasser work and it was the nicest thing thing I have ever done.
